To promote and practice mediation as a means of overcoming the tension, anger and fear that arise from conflict. Thereby helping people improve their quality of life and regain peace of mind in their homes, workplaces and neighbourhoods.
Objects: (1)To Promote Mediation, Arbitration, Conciliation Or Reparation In Disputes And Conflicts Between Persons, Organisations Or Groups Arising From Criminal Activity, Personal Conflicts, Neighbourhood Disputes Where The Results Form Or May Lead To Acts Of Nuisance, Vandalism, Racial Abuse Or A Breach Of The Peace. (11)To Promote Conciliation And Mediation In Conflicts Arising From The Breakdown In Relationship Within The Family Or Between Children And Parents, Husband And Wife, The Partners In A Household. (111)To Offer Facilities For Mediation And Conciliation In Situations Of Misunderstanding In The Relationship Between Children And Students In Institutions Of Learning (E.g. Schools, Colleges And Other Such Establishments) On The One Hand The Teachers, Administrators And Governors Of Those Institutions On The Other.
