FACILITATING AND ENCOURAGING LOCAL PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES THROUGH VOLUNTEERING.CONTINUATION OF DEVELOPMENT WORK ON BLACK ELDERS PROJECT WHICH HAD SOME SUPPORT FROM AGE CONCERN AND THROUGH LOCAL FUND RAISING.SOCIAL AND CULTURAL EVENTS, DISCUSSION GROUPS TO INFORM AND RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND LIFE LONG LEARNING ACTIVITIES.MARKET TESTS.
Objects: A.to Promote Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of Persons Of West Indian Birth Or Descent Who Are Resident In The West Midlands And The Surrounding Area Includong The Advancement Of Education,the Relief Of Poverty,sickness And Distress And The Provision Of Vocational Training.b.to Provide In The Interests Of Social Welfare,facilities For The Recreation Or Other Leisure-Time Occupation Of The Inhabitants Of West Midlands And The Surrounding Area,in Particular Those Who Have Need Of Such By Reason Of Their Youth,age,disability Or Social And Economic Circumstances With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.
