The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the second edth.on of the Charities Ststement
of Recommende¢J Prath"ce issued in October 2019. the Financial Rewtng Standard ap￿ICable in the Unrted
Kingdom and Republic of Ireland {FRS 1021 and the Charities Ad 20t 1.
The trust constitutes a puNic benefft entty as defined by FRS 102.
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention with rtems recogni8ed at cost

The object of the chanty is provision and maintenance of a village hall and l or reC￿allOn ground for use ty
the inhabitants of the area of benefft *ith(Mrt distinction of Ort1￿. rel￿￿)￿S or other opinions, induding use for
meetings. ￿urets and dasses and other fomis of we*'on and leisu￿ time occupatson with the object of
Improvln9 the corMIth'ons of lrfe for the inhabitants.
The Iru8tee8 confirn) that they hatyt complied with the requirements of section 4 of Ihe Chanbe8 Act 2011 to
have due regard to the publlc benèfft guKlance published by the Charity ComrTMss￿n for England and W8188.
Achlovements and Perfomian¢•
2022 saw the return to a fijlty open Vilage Hall, hosling regular htr¥s. *pddkng events, partle8. and provldlng
the pre-school group wrth premises to provide a valuable seTViC£ to the parents and children in the area. The
Hall also ho$led a number of communty everrts lo celetmate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and was al$0
involved in the organisab"M ol a village bonfire and firevI￿rkS event for the local comnyjnty.
The charity continues lo provide a vrtal aménity for ts local cunmunty for meetsngs, recreation, and social
a¢tivilies

At the end of the penod, the chanty held t(￿￿ funds of £441.22412021 £438.2261. A]1 fijnds helt1 are
unrestn"cted,12021 '. ￿trithd funds of £3,235 ¥•￿ hdd in respect of a Nkn'onal Lottery Grant received in
2021 relating lo the Queen's Platinum Jubike celebrats'ons in 2022.) During the year. inwme exceeded
expenditure by £2,998 {2021.' £21,840). Further details ofthe finan￿1 ,pthmance for the year can be found

During 2022 Ihe chanty's Hampshire Trust Bank ortryear Ixmd malured and was Trinvested in a Hampshire
Trust Bank t￿year try)nd.

The financial statements have been p￿pared on the going concern basis. The trustees are satisfied that the
chanty has sufficient cash fl(Ms to meet rts liabilrties as they fall due for at least one year from the date of
approval of the finan¢ial slatemenls.

Structure. Governance and Management
The Trust is a registered tharity, number 1014361. and 18 0)r￿lItuted under a Conveyance dated 18 June 1929,
as amended by an Altering Scheme date(16 May 1999.
The Twst has four trustees, must hold the to the dwrity. The trustees may hold office
for life. Any appointment of a trustee must be made by the remaining truste￿ In cx)nsuttatknn with the tharity
trustees and the appointment reported to a meetbng of the tharty tr￿tee$.
The management Committee includes five ex-offKio membws (the aiy)ve four Irustees, plus a president if
appointed). six elected members (chaim￿n, Seuetsry. Treasurer, plus three others). and one appoirrted
