Sound Seekers, The Commonwealth Society for the Deaf, supports people with hearing loss realise their rights by enabling access to healthcare and education, by partnering with hospitals to improve the prevention, identification and management of hearing loss; with schools to improve access to quality education for children with hearing loss; and with communities to raise awareness of hearing loss.

Objects: In Any Part Or Parts Of The World, Including, Without Limitation, Any State Or Territory Within The Commonwealth, To Investigate And Make Known The Numbers, Conditions And Needs Of The Deaf And The Causes Of Deafness; To Promote The Relief, Education And Employment Of The Deaf; To Initiate, Stimulate And Co-Ordinate Work For The Deaf And The Prevention Of Deafness; To Foster Collaboration Between Organisations For The Deaf And For The Prevention Of Deafness And To Promote Activities For The Benefit Of Such Organisations. ("The Deaf" Means Persons Who Suffer From Any Degree Of Impairment Of Hearing).
