The ChKldingstone Primary School Pawt Teacher Association is a registered charity 1013823 and is govern6d by an
updated constitution whKh was adopted on 25 June 2018.
Objects of the Association
The i)bj&t of the Associ81ion is lo advance the education ol pupils in th& school. In furtherance ol this otiecl the
Association may:

Activities, Achievements and Plans for Future Periods
The am ol the PTA is lo supp)rt the school both practically and financially through fundraisng events and lo facilrtale a
strong rdalioTrship bet￿n the parents and the teachers,
This year, the PTA donated £41,2121o the school and 8SSWigled charities. This contributed to new aslrolurt in the outdoor
areas. the laasing paymants lor the school minibus, together with donalions lor IT ￿Ul[￿nI, outdoor slc¥age equiF)nenl
and a new church proieclor. On providing the donalions. the tnjslees have considered the Charity Commission guidance on
Fxjblic benefit.
We started the 2023124 academic year with a ge￿ra1 air of posilivily. Our two e￿$tIng co-chairs agreed to conlinue in their
roles until r8placem8nls were found. They mapped out the events for the year and got the rw PTA ￿￿$ up lo spééd on
their tasks.
T8rm 1 is 8hNays fairty qui81 due to the new start￿S in Reception, and those laking lh8 11 + in Year S.
To kkk ofl the fundraising year, we had a second hand unllorm sale, which raised £195.39. The PTA provlded refreshments
al the Harvest Feslival Service, raising ￿69.75, Additionally we had a pre-loved toy and book sale. which raiscd £239.09. In
Octob8r, sonE childr8n entered into the Hev￿ Commando challenge, and their sponsorship raised £185.03 for the PTA.
Term 2 is notoriously a busy on8 for all as we géar up lor ChrElmas.
The M)vember Disco was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and raised a whoppin9 £982.54. We had a Bag2School
collection raising £200 and the Children's artwork lor Chrislmas Cards r8iS8d £170.44.
Children were able lo enjoy panlomimg productions either at school or al the theatre and the PTA were very happy lo be
able lo donate money towards ice creams as a treat for the children and cover the cost of the travel to/lrom Ihealres, with
the PTA donating £968.60 in total lo cow this and decorations lor the school Christmas lunch.
The Christmas Wreath Workshop hos18d by Kat￿ Grant resulted in a £60 donation.
Al IfE start of we held our Christmas Fw. wh￿h was a huge success and raised just under £3,500 (uKluding
£377.80, which was donated for PJ)ndenill s￿la1 thanks to Paul Hogan who agreed lo lake the lead on organising lh8 fair
it is a￿ayS a lot of work bul a brilliant event lo ￿t everyone fe6lin9 Christmassy.
Tho Key Stage 1 nativity and Key Stage 2 carol concert were wjoyed by all. with refreshments Fyovided by the PTA raising
£650.79, and the Governors once again showl thgir generosity in donating priz&s lor the Christmas raffle, which rais&Y

In Term 4 we wera lucky enough lo be Irealed lo a wondorful Movie themed ball, including Ihe anwing usuJ costumes. The
Y6 8all Commitlae did a suwb job on the night and I'm thrilled lo report Ihal the Bdl raised just over £11,81X) lor the PTA.
In Term S the 8ag2School event raised £128 and the wonderful Maypole celebralion raised a further £336.11.
Term 6 is another busy one with quite a few big events and thi8 yeaf we had th@ additional event ol 'Ol￿piC$ Day". Massive
thanks to Caroline Mace and her team for organising this wonderful day in celebrations ol Ihe Olympics and lo raise money
lor our new aslrolurf 11 raised an amaling £2,735.97. Storts Day raised £811.41 and open evening a further £1.178.60. We
rounded off the year with the Summar Production, which was a wonderful send ofl lor the outgoing Year 6. in lolal il raised
£2.056.50.
Throughout th8 year we had additional second h￿d unilorm sales, which 9eneraled £299.06 and '50p Fridays, throughout
Ihe year raised £597.18.
As w811 as our PTA ewts. W8've had ad hoc Charltable Oonalions amounting to £149.25.
During the year the PTA have donated £2,000 lor new PE Sheds, £1,500 towards the church proleclor, £11 .500 towards
new laptops, iPads and visualisers, which are due10 be bought before the end 012024, and £17,000 lor th8 new astro In
addition th8 PTA have donated £1 000 10 the ChithYingslon8 Village Sports Association.
We'r8 thrilled to hav8 had a great year of fundraising - raising over £27.000. We are sadly saying goodbye lo Lucy and
Lauren as co.chairs ol the PTA as well as Bev who will now stand down as Ireasurff. Thank you lo all 3 01 them for Ihe
hours and hours ol lime they have all given to the school PTA ovw the last few years.

I report in res￿1 ol my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my
exarninalion I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under seclion 1451511bl ol the Acl.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come lo my attention in connection with the
examinalDn which gives me cause lo bglwe that in, any materwl respect..
accounting records wer6 nol kept in respect of the Trust as required by seCt￿n 130 of the Act,. or
the accounls do not accord with those records,
the accounts did not comply with the applicabl8 requirements concerning the form and conlenl ol accounts sel out
