The objects of the Burnside Centre remain the same as in previous years, namely to maintain a youth and community centre for the benefit of the local neighbourhood, aiming to provide a quality environment to stage a wide range of community activities (recreational and educational) and accredited training, development and guidance across the age groups, from young children to retired adults.

Objects: A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants. B) To Establish Or Secure The Establlishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same In Furtherance Of These Objects.
