The rnain achievements and performance of the charity during the year.
On 16th January 2025 the hall celebrated the centenary of the opening night with a sell wl concert
by the Black Dyke band raising lunds for ongoing work io the hall.
The Trustges are ple8S8d that usage hire of the charitys premis8s has continued al 8 level
similar to the previous financial year bul wth some new cuslomers and a ten per cent increase in
hire fees received.
This incrèasè in rèvènuè has hèlpèd to raduce the impact ol a 21% incrèasè in utility bills.
The Trustees were pleased to receive a Gift ￿'d donation of £12.300 from the profit achieved by the
Riley-smith Hall Trading Company which provides snacks and drinks for events at the hall.
W¢yk that ￿gafi in 2024 a$ a ￿1g￿ and A￿$$ prc*Jromrn6 to provid& ramp acc8$8 8t th8 front Of
the building culminated in approval being granted by North Yorkshire Council and detailed plans and
quotations have resulted in a successful lender by a local contractor to carry out the work over an
eight weèk period starting in February 2026.
A successful applicaDon was made lo the N81ional Lottery for a gr8nl of £20,OCKJ towards this work
which will be paid in the 2025126 accounts.
