**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF DISTRESS IN CHRISTIAN AND NON-CHRISTIAN ADULTS WITH EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE COUNCIL OF MANAGEMENT MAY THINK FIT, AND PARTICULARLY BY:(I) TRAINING AND EDUCATING LOCAL CHRISTIANS AND NON-CHRISTIANS IN COUNSELLING AND RELATED SUBJECT AREAS(II) PROVIDING COUNSELLING AND RELATED SERVICES WITHIN A CHRISTIAN ETHOS AND FOLLOWING CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES

**Activities:** To relieve distress and promote mental health and wellbeing in local people experiencing emotional or psychological suffering by providing counselling and related services, and training and educating adults in counselling and related areas. We have centres in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Lydney, staffed by around 35 staff and over 100 volunteers. We also run a series of workshops for CPD.
