Achievements and Performance The BSG PSA has run a full and successful year's schedule of events again this year. The income 8nd 8ssociated expenses reflect the fundraising activitythis year. Para 1.20 This year the PSA has continuedto innovate and ventured into selling event tickets {incLuding coLLecting"permissions" and event applications) via a secure online platform. While there are transaction costs, this has removed the need for banking large sums of cash, and all the time and riskthat involves as weLL as reducing the need to bring sums of cash into school. It has also enabled us to cope with last minute ticket purchases and make refunds easilyand quickly if required. Event guest lists and registers can now also be compiled using the platform. Demand for events such as Thorpe Park and the popular Christmas Craft Fayre with its bidding wall, has continued to grow year on year and these events look set to remain substantially biggerthan they were pre- pandemic and core contributors to our fundraising. Preloved uniform sales remain but have been impacted bythe change of uniform. We anticipate sales will startto grow again in 25126. Donations this year included substantial funding to remodel and refit the Sixth Form Common Room. This has been a transformation the PSA can be justly proud of and includes not only a variety of seating zones and study areas but also a "coffee shop" style cafe area which means pupils are more Likely to remain on site during free periods. The cafe is not only a less expensive option than local coffee shops and therefore keeps costs down for pupils and parents but also ensures income is brought back into to school. Having opened in September 2024, at the time of writing. the new common room has been hugely popular, well used, and very much loved by the pupils. A very worthwhile investment which will be added to in the 24125 academic year.
