**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE RELIEF OF MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DISTRESS AMONGST WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN MALTREATED BY THEIR HUSBANDS OR BY THE MEN WITH WHOM THEY ARE OR HAVE BEEN LIVING AND WOMEN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED DOMESTIC ABUSE IN ANY OF ITS FORMS FROM A CURRENT OR PREVIOUS PARTNER OR FROM ANY FAMILY MEMBER, AND AMONGST THE CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN, IN PARTICULAR  BY THE PROVISION OF TEMPORARY HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION, AND BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS SHALL FURTHER THE SAID OBJECTS.

**Activities:** Support services to women and their children (if any) experiencing domestic abuse by the provision of emotional and practical support and information to enable women to determine their own future; temporary crisis refuge accomodation; outreach support for women and children; 24 hour on call service; inform the public and other agencies on the issues of the effects of domestic abuse.
