Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
General charitable purposes
During the 2021/22 year, the Charity has continued its close involvement with local youth charity, MAHDLO – Oldham Youth Zone, as well as a strong association with OnSide Youth Zones, of which MAHDLO is one.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
The Trustees are committed to an ongoing relationship with MAHDLO. Mrs Barker continues to serve on the Board of MAHDLO and act as an advisor. This is an unpaid role to which Mrs Barker continues to devote many hours each month. The trustees are committed to providing support - both financial and personal – to MAHDLO, for the foreseeable future. There has been no financial donation to MAHDLO in the 2021/22 year.
In these and other donations, the Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

The Foundation and its Trustees continued to nurture and lend support to local charities, with a particular emphasis on Youth and a secondary interest in Arts.
