To promote the benefit of the residents of Swaythling (including Flower Roads Estate) and nearby areas, through joint working with local, statutory and voluntary agencies. To facilitate informal education, learning and social recreation. To maintain and manage the Swaythling Neighbourhood Centre for the benefit of local residents and providing equal opportunities for all.

Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Swaythling And The Neighbourhood Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authority, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. B) To Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of, A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same In Furtherence Of These Objects.
