Achievements and Performance SORP reference In the 2023124 financial year the Charity had its, most successful year for some time. We were lucky to have 2 beds running in the Great Knaresborough bedrace which allowed for excellent fundraising through sponsorship and related school events of over £3000. We chose to combine the previously successful ColourRun and AspinFest into a single event 'ColourFest' which proved to be very popular with both the school and wider communty and allowed local music artists to share their talents. The combined event generated over £5000 which exceeded expectations.we collaborated with Knaresborough Cricket Club for the first time tor the annual fireworks night which brought a greater community feel to the event and allowed risks to be shared. This was another successful event and the collaboration is something we hope to continue. We also held school focussed fundraising such as cake sales and sponsored evenis which have continued to be very popular in bringing much needed money in to provide additional resources to support the education of the children. Finally, passive fundraising sources such as YourSchoolLottery, Easyfundraising and Amazon Smile PTovided over £2000 combined. Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.
