The trustees present the annual report together with the accounts for the charity for the year ended
31 August 2025.
Purpose of charlty
The provision of funding to enhance the educational activities and environment avail•ble to puplls at
Cookham Rise Primary School.
The main activities in relation to this purpose are:
Organising fundraising events including Summer and Christmas Fairs
Holding social events for parents, friends and families with the objertive of fundraisinq for
the charity
Supporting school events by selling refreshments to raise fund5 for the charity
Hosting welcome events for parents who are new to the school
Selling second hand uniform
ContrlbutSons made by volunteers
The charity is reliant upon volunteers to run the cornmittee and to organise and run fundraising

The balance of the PTA and petty cash accounts at 31 August 2025 was £25,554 {2024: £32,249).

The year ended 31 August 2025 was another successful year for fundraisin& with total funds
raised of £21.214.
The breakdown of the funds raised after expenses for the top 5 fund-raising events during the
year were as follows:

£4,111 was also raised towards the Circus event to be held in the next academic year on Sunday

Ex
enditure
The total expenditure for the year ended 31 August 2025 was £35,979 comprised of £7.966
incurred directly in relation to fund-raisin8 activities and £27,471 incurred to support the
purpose of the charity.
£542 was spent on PTA expenses includin8 PTA membership. insur•nce. gifts and items to be
used for future fundraisin8 events.
Outlook
At 31 August 2025 the PTA had committed spend of £4.895 as follows:

The PTA aims to hold £2.(KIO as working capitsl. This leaves funds of approximately £18,5{￿ to
support school projects during 2025126.
Whilst the PTA needs to be sensitive to the current financial climate where families have less
disposable income, the PTA remains positive that it can conts'nue to raise funds to support
upcoming school projects in the coming years.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Parent Teacher Association of the
Cookham Rise County Primary School (the Trust) for the year ended 31 August 2025.

As the charity trustees of the Trust you ère responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charitie5 Art 20111'the Act'l.
I report in re5pert of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out under section 145 of the
