-
The year ended 31 August 2023 was a very successful year for fundraising, with total funds raised of £44,327.
-
The breakdown of the funds raised after expenses for the top 5 fund-raising events during the year were as follows:

-
This year a new fund-raising initiative was undertaken to raise funds through selling Christmas trees to parents and friends. Despite a good level of sales, unfortunately this activity generated a small loss of £139. This loss was due to making an additional bulk order of trees to sell at the Christmas Fair, in addition to orders placed by parents in advance, that were not fully sold.
Expenditure

- The PTA aims to hold £2,000 as working capital. This leaves funds of approximately £15,000 to support school projects during 2023/24.
3
- Whilst the PTA needs to be sensitive to the current financial climate where families have less disposable income the PTA remains positive that it can continue to raise funds to support upcoming school projects in the coming years.
