**Activities:** Formed in 1991 as a co-ordinating body with statutory authorities, commercial, charitable and volunteer bodies, groups and individuals with an interest in securing the protection and improvement of landscape and features of geological, geographical, archaeological, historical, ecological and architectural interest in and around the Yorkshire Wolds.
