The directorsnrustee5 have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what
a¢tivitles the trust should undertake.
The trustees remain proactiv8 in their aim, which is to provide our residents with a high standard of Ca￿ within a
safe, secure, comfortable and happy environment.
The trustees continue to invest in the rnalntenan￿ of the bulldlng. All the fire doors now meet current fire door

complaints are inv8sligated and and disciplinary actions undertaken when and if required.
The financial situation remains difficutt. The cost of utility bills has had a massive impact on our finances,
however with careful management we remain solvent. This being the case the trustees have made the decision
to increase the homes capacity by 2 - taking US UP to 16 residents. We have applied to the Care Quality
Commission to increase our room number to 16 - an increase of 2 residènts. Work is planned to start on this
project In the new flnancial year.
The trustees are planning to raise money for the installation of a sensory garden. It is planned that in late sprlng
a sponsorèd walk will b8 undertaken. Hopefully if the walk is a sucess, plans for a gr0￿p of volunteers of
fundraisers will be implemented to raise money at fulure events.
Flnanclal ravlew
It is the policy of the trust that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use shouhJ be
maintained at a lev81 equivalent to b8tween three and six month's expenditure. The director5rtrustees consider
that reserves at this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to
continue the trust's current activities while consideration is given to ways In which addltlonal fvnds may be raised.
This level of reserves has been maintained throughoLrt the year.
