Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The Trustees met three times: in June and October 2024 and in March 2025.

Historically, income for the charity has come from just three sources - rent from property, dividends from investments and bank interest.

The Charity owns a commercial property in Walton-on-Thames, purchased in June 2016 at a cost of £657,404. Rents received in the year 2024-25 amounted to £45,617 (2023-24: £42,695).

Dividends received were £13,215 (2023-24: £15,325) and interest from investments was £6,412 (2023-24: £5,845).

During the year, £1,000 each was granted to St John PCC , St Mark PCC and St Mary with St Alban PCC. Out of the income received, £17,427 (2023-24: £15,544) was donated from the Promotion of Education Fund, £24,846 from the Relief in Need Fund (2023-24: £24,395), and £12,660 (2023-24: £5,160) was donated for wider social benefits. Out of the Relief in Need Fund, £3,370 (2023-24: £3,991) was donated to individuals in need, £15,626 (2023-24: £15,529) to other organisations, and £5,850 (2023-24: £4,875) was spent on a voucher scheme to the neighbourhood in need.

During the year the Trustees reviewed sections of the Constitution of 1990 regarding the application of income to confirm and ensure compliance with them.
