Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year The National Lottery Heritage Fund INLHFI funded project Hogarth's Mulberry Garden has now ended and with that change staffing at Hogarth's House has also changed. The previous Learning and Engagement Manager role which was NLHF has been discontinued in favoLJr of the new roles of Learning Manager and of Volunteer Manager. These roles work across both Hogarth's House and Boston Manor House as all Historic House staff now do. The house also has a new Visitor Experience team lead by a Visitor Experience Senior Officer with three duty officers and five Visitor Experience Assistants. This new set up allows more flexibility to ensure the site remains open and accessible to all. The garden is maintained by a team of volunteers who are supported by the Volunteer Manager. The Weston Studio has played host to private and public events including talks and activities making use of our printing press and drawing inspiration from Hogarth's colour palette and line of beauty which is featured throughout the site. A new Free special exhibition At Home With the Hogarth's was displayed at the house, greatly expanding the story of the Hogarth Family and their social circles for our visitors. TAR April 2023

Independent examlner's report to the trustees of Hogarth's House I report to the Iruslees on my examination of the accounts of Hogarth's House {Ihe Charity) for the year ended 31 March 2023. Responslbllltles and basls of report As the trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 I'the Act'i. I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llb} of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material mallers have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me Cause lo believe that in any material respect.. 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act,. or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
