## **REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES AND ACCOUNTS** 

## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31[ST] AUGUST 2023** 

The trustees of this charity are comprised of the two most senior members of school staff. The activities and objectives of the organisation are to provide a rounded education for the pupils of the school. 

Following on from the COVID recovery period, the school has continued to perform well during the year ending 31[st] August 2023, retaining its Ofsted ‘Good’ rating. The pupils’ academic results continue to be good. Special events and extra-curricular activities are very well attended and the school has an active Parent Teacher and Friends Association. 

The school private fund accounts for the relevant period have been duly audited and no irregularities found. These accounts are available to be viewed on the school’s website. All money raised has been used to the benefit of the pupils of Duffield Meadows Primary School.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's account5 carrsed out under sectlon 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed the applicable Direttions given by the
Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
I have completed my examination and confirm that no material matters have come to my attention
in connection with the examination which gNe me cause to believe that. in any material re5pect-
accounting records were not kept in accordance with settion 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accard with the accounting records.
I have no concerns and have come acr055 no other rnatters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in order to enable proper understanding of the accounts to be
