Cerne Abbas Music Festival Annual Report. 2023.
The Cerne Abbas Music Festival presented a long weekend of Chamber music Concerts in Cerne Abbas Church in July 2023. The Festival engaged 12 professional musicians to rehearse and perform a wide variety of of Chamber music from across Three centuries. The concerts were attended by a total of approximately 1000 people who enjoyed works by composers of works for many combinations of instruments. The Box office receipts were healthy and together with Friends subscriptions, Gift Aid recovery and Benefactors donations resulted in a satisfactory financial outcome. The Festival has reserves to support future activities with confidence.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
