**Objects:** (A) TO PROVIDE OR SUPPORT PROGRAMMES OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR ADULTS IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES AIMED AT THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE POORER POPULATIONS USING THE MOST APPROPRIATE FORMS OF ADULT LEARNING METHODOLOGIES (B) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF ADULT EDUCATION BODIES AND CHARITABLE BODIES IN THE UK BY INCREASING THEIR AWARENESS OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF EDUCATORS OF ADULTS IN DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING PROGRAMMES IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES

**Activities:** Education For Development supports education and social development initiatives in marginalised communities, wherever they are located. Much of our work is around non-formal and community education approaches, using a range of media, and learner-generated resources.
