Birmingham Karma Ling reviews its policies and procedures and risk management on a regular basis and provides training in safeguarding for all trustees and staff in public facing roles.
Birmingham Karma Ling comes under the spiritual guidance of His Eminence the Twelfth Tai Situ Rinpoche.

Section C Objectives and activities
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

To advance the Buddhist religion in particular but not exclusively, in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the Karma Kagyu School of Buddhism;

To advance education in accordance with the tradition of Buddhism: to relieve persons in need in accordance with Buddhist practices.

To provide facilities for regular Buddhist prayers, meditation and services for both the resident community and others of all faiths or no faith. This very beneficial for the alleviation of stress and the development of compassion, goodwill and understanding between different faiths;

To provide a permanent centre for the support of a resident community at Nos. 39, 41 and 42 Carlyle Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 for the purpose of promoting and assisting the activities set out in the previous paragraph;

To sponsor eminent Buddhist teachers to visit Birmingham Karma
