We have over the years, supported the educational activitres, certain maintenance needs and particular indivldual synagogue member5 whose financial needs are apparent. 2025 started wlth the trustees already havin8 been informed that along with nine other charities, they would receive a legacy from a recent synagogue member the late Shula Sedge, who had died in Ortober 2023. It was being administered by Moore Barlow and Probate had been granted in 2024. Eventually in October 2025, we recelved an Interlm payment of £172,977.23. Rlchmond Syna808ue has an impressive modem building that is however now nearly 40 years old. They have embarked on a "Projert Reima8ing" and our charity has a8reed to support it. Due to the rise in antisemitic incidents, the hi8hp5t priorlty in 2025 wa5 to upgrade the security facilities Wlth UP8Taded gates and doors and *curity cameras. We donated £50,000 for that work in December 2025. We expect to be donatin8 in 2026 and 2027 towards this Project.
