omply with current statutory requirements. the Memorandum and Arb"cles of Association and the
Statement of Recommended Practice - Accounting and Reporbng by Charibes.
Objects of the Charty
The objects of the chanty are to organise a variety of fvnctions and soctal events for the community
members.
Organlsation
A board comprising of four main trustees ,meet at least four tsmes a year, admirEister the charities affairs.
Investment powers
Under the memorandum and arbdes of assoctation, the charity has the powei tr) make any investment
as the trustees see fit.
Review of the activities and future developments
The company contsnued tts in supporbng and running various sport and keep fit activities for its members
throughout the year.
Trustees. responsibilities in relation to the financial statements
Company law requires the trustees to p￿pare accounts ft)r each financial yearwhich give a true and fair
view of the stale of affairs of the charity and of the profft or bss of the charity for thal year. In preparing
those accounts, the t￿SteeS are required to..
select suitable acwunting policies and then apply them consistentty..
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; and
prepare the financial statements on the going (x)ncem basis unless it is inappropriate to
presume that the charity wll continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charty and enables them to ensure that the fi'nancial
statements compty with the Companies Act 20CE. The trustees are also resFX)nsible for safeguarding
safeguarding the assets of the charity arml hen￿ for takn.ng reasonab￿ steps for the preventK)n and
detection of fraud and other irregularittes.

The charity constitutes a pubic benfft entity as defined by FRS 105 applicable for small enkn"ties.
Ib} Resources expended are recognised in the ￿riod in whth they are incurred. Resources expended include
attributable VAT which cannot be recovered.
Trnsteeg. Remuneration
No remuneration directty or indiredy out of the charity was paid or payable for the period to any trustee or
any person or persons known to be connected wth any ofthem in attendance of meetings or functtons.
Taxalion
The charitable company is exempt from corporation tax on rts Charitab￿ activities.
Depreciation
Depreciation is prowded on the short leasehold and fumiture and equipment at the following rates
