The Irustees present their rep¢yl with the financial stalem8nts of the charity for the year ended
31 December 2024. The truslees have adopted the provisions of Accounling and Reporling by Charities..
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102) (effective 1 January
2019).
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
ObJeGtIvo5 and alms
The trust was established to make donations to charitable organisations and to relieve persons from outside
the Christadelphian community who are in poor or slraitèn8d circumsLinces or other4¥ise In need. The tnJst
fulfils its objeclives through grant making.
Public bènèfit
During the year the trust fulfilled its publiG benefit aims by way of its grants to various institutions from oulside
the Christadelphian community.
When planning grant making activitles for the year, the Trustees have considered the Commission's guidance
on public benefit.
Volunt••r•
The trustees are grateful for the contribution made by volunteers in assisting the trust to cary out Its acllvities.
Because of Ihe difficulties in quantifying economic value to the volunteers, lime their contribution has not been
included in the statement of financial activities.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
The trust has continued to make grants to a range of causes, induding 8 number of payments to appèal
funds sel up in response to vffjrldwSde crises. thus fulfilling Ils publlc benefit aims, The Major r￿1plent5 are
detailed in note 5 to the accounts.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Flnanclal posltlon
The nel incoming resourc&s of the unrestricted fund for the year amounted to a deficit of £58.804 (2023:
£19,737 surplus) and the totsl furKI balance cartied forward at 31 December 2024 is £158,158 (2Q23:
£216,692).
Reserves pollcy
The reseNes held are £158.158. The Irust88s have reviev￿d the rés8rv8s of the charity. This review included
an assessment of the probable future 18vels of Income and expenditure and the size and nature of the
reserves. The review concluded that it was likely that there would be greater demands on the charity in the
futur& and that thè size of the reserves would enable Ihe trustees lo meet Ihese calls on the charity.
FUTURE PLANS
The Irustees intend to carry on providing grants in a manner similar to that of recent years.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The trust is an unincorporated trust. constituted under a trust dead dated 31 July 1991. and is Registered
Charity number 1004457.
The trustees who serrfed during thè year are shown below. Th8 trust88s are appointed by the Board of
Trustees. The trustees hold meetings quarterly. where they agree the trust's overall strategy and areas of
activity such as inveslment, grant making, reseNes and risk manag6menl.
The day-i04ay administration of grants etc. is carried out by the Treasurer and Ihe Secretary.
New trustees 8r8 provided with an induction pack which contains key information about the charity. They are
also given infonnation published by the Charlty Commission on th8 duties and responsibilities of Irustees,
The trustaes have identified the major rlsk8 which the trust faces and procedures have bean established to
manage those risks.

The financial stalements of the charity. thlch is a public benefit enlity under FRS 1D2, have been
prepared in accordan￿ wlth the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accountsng and Reporting by Charities..
Statement of Recommended Practi￿ applicable to charitles preparing Iheir accounts in accordance
with th8 Flnanclal Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)
(effective 1 January 2019),, Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, arKJ th8 Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have
been prepared under the historical cost convenlion.
Incom•
All income Is recognised in the Statemenl of Financial Activities once Ihe charity has entitlement to the
funds. It Is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.
Expendllur•
Liabilities are recognised as expendhture as soon as there is a legal or constructlve obligation
commlttlng the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be
required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliabty. Expenditure Is
accounted for on an accruals basis and has been dassified under headings that aggregate all cost
related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been
allocated to acts'vities on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Grants offered subject to conditions which hav8 not been met al the year end date are noted as a
commitment but not accrued as expenditure. Other expenditure Is Induded on the accruals basis.
Governanc• costs
Govemance wsts include all costs involving the public accountabllity of the charity and its compliance
with regulation and good practice. These costs include all costs r8lat8d lo the Independenl examiners
r8port and other sundry expenditure
Taxallon
The charity is exempt from tax on its eharltable activilies.
Irrecoverable VAT is charged lo the category of expenditur8 for which it was incurred,
Tax recovered from volunlary income received under gift aid is recogni5ed. where malerial, when the
related income is recdvabl8 and is allocaled to Ihe income category to which the income r81at8S.
Fund a¢counllng
Unrestricted funds are general funds that are available for use at the trustees, discrelion in furtherance
of the objectives of the charity.
Restricted funds are those donated for use in a particular area or for specific purposes, the use of
which is restricted to that area or purpos8.
Volunteers
Because of Ihe difficulties in quantifying economic value to the volunteers. time their contribution has
not been Included in the statement of financial activities.
