Tho trustees present their report wlth the financlal statements of the charlty for the year ended
31 December 2023. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reportlng by Charltles:
ststement of Recommended Praclice applicable to charitles preparing their accounts In accordance with the
Financlal Reporting Standard applicable In the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 1021 (effe¢tive 1 January
2019).
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectlves and alms
The trust was established io make donatlons to charitsbl8 organlsallons and lo relleve persons from outslde
the Chrlstadelphian communlty who are In poor or stralt8ned clrcumstanc&s or otheNAse In need. The trust
fulfils its objectives through granl making.
Publlc b•n•fit
Durlng Ihe year the trust fulfilled Its public benefit alms by way of its grants to varlous instilutions from outside
the Chrlstadelphian communlty.
When plannlng grant rnaklng activities for the year, the Trustaes have consldered the Commlsslon's guldance
on public benefit,
Volunt••r•
The trustees are grateful for the contributlon made by volunte8rs In assi8tlng the Iru81 to cary out its acllvllles.
Because of the ijlfficultle8 in quant5fyrfng economic value to the volunleers, time thelr contribution has not been
5nciuded In the statemenl of financial actlvltles.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
The trust has continued to make grants to a range of causes, Including a number of payments to appeal
funds set up in response to worldwlde crises, thus fulfllllng its public benefit 8ims. Tho major recipients are
d•tailed in note S to the accounts.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Flnanclal posftlon
The net Incom5ng resources of the unrestrlcted fund for the year amounted to £19,737 and the total fund
balance carrled forward at 31 December 2023 is £216,962.
Re••N•s poll¢y
The res8rv8s held are £216,962. The trustees have reviewed the reserves of the charity. Thls review included
an assessment of the probable future levels of incom8 and expendlture and Ihe sSze and nalure of Ihe
reserves. Tha r8vi¢w concluded that it was likely that th8re would be greatar demands on the charity in the
future and thal the slze of the resarvas woukl enable the trustees to meet these rAlls on the charity.
FUTURE PLANS
The trustees Intend to carry on providing granls in a manner slmllar to that of recent years.

STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The trust is arb unincorporated trust, constiluted under a trust deed daled 31 July 1991. and is Registemd
Charlty number 1004457.
The trustees who served durlng the year are shown below. The trustees are appointed by the Board of
Trustees. The truslees hold meelings quarterly, vh)ere Ihey agree the trusfs overall strategy and areas of
aclivity Such as Investment, grant maklng, reserves and rlsk managemenl.
Th8 day-t041ay admlnlstration of grants etc. is ¢arried out by the Treasurer and the Secretary.
New Iruslees are provided with an Induction pack which contains key infonnatlon about the charlty. They are
also glven information publlshad by the Charlty Commission on the duties and responsSbllltl8s of trusle8s.
The trustees have identified the major risks whlch the trust faces and procedures hava been established to
manage those risks.

I report to the charlty trustees on my examination of the accounts of Christadelphian Samarltan Fund (the
Trust) for the year ended 31 D8cember 2023.

As the charity trust66s of the Trust you are r&sponslble for the preparation of the accounts In accordance wlth
the requirements of Ihe Charities Act 2011 ('Ihe Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusfs accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in
carrylng out my examinatlon I have followed all applicable Directions gfven by the Charlty Commisslon undor
Section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examinatlon. I confirm that no material matters have Come to my attention in connection
with the examinatlon giving me cause to believe that in any materlal respect:
accountlng records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by Section 130 of the Acl; or
the accounts do not accord wlth those records; or
the accounts do not comply wlth the applScabl8 iequlrements concernlng the form and ¢onlent of
accounts sel out In the Charth'es {Accounls and Reports) Regulalions 2008 other than any requlrement
that the accounts give a true and fair vlew whlch Is not a matter consldered as part of an independent
examination.

statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparlng iheir accounts in accordance
with the Flnancial Reportlng Stsndard applScable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)
