PROVIDED THAT IN APPLYING SUCH FUND PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO ORPHANS.

**Activities:** The advancement of education through the distribution of the net income of the Trust to Howell's School, Llandaff in South Wales for the maintenance of the girls' school, and the provision of more general educational support for young people throughout North Wales via Thomas Howell's Education Fund for North Wales.
