Holders of key positions are selected by members of the committee who second their appointment. The aim of the association is to provide a means by which parents, staff, governors and members of the comrnunity support the work of the school, enhancing the education of the cljildrell and to strengthen the relationships between these groups. We ty to achieve this through a combination of social events for th¢ pupils and parents, fundraising activities and support for specific aspects of the work of the school. The Friends of Park Lane School Association continues to maintain a stsble financial position with £29,492.5 l in reserves at the end of this year which will continue to be spent in a way to achieve our aims in the next coming year. Actlvlties thi8 year Chrlstmas Activltles The Christsnas Activities 2024 made a profit of £3730.93. Our thanks go out to everyone involved and those who helped on the day. Dlscos The friends held three discos this year, which were a roaring success raising £3,571.12. The summer disco also included a special photo session for the year 6 children. as it did last year. it proved hug¢ly popularl Summer Fete The Summer Fete held raised an amazing £4883.78. A good tim¢ was had by all. Th¢ parental sUPPOrt for this event fantsstic. School UDiforni One of the valuable services provided by the Friends is the sale of school unifonn. tK)Ia Brown kindly actions this and has helped raise £2.235.27. Friends and the school would like to thank her for all her hard work this year.
