Activlties for adults have included.. ballet, life drawing and exercise classes, Significant refurbishment and redevelopment of the building is being planned which includes developing a new core within the buildingi a lift and stairs that will enable acce55 for all from the local community. This report is made solely to the Trustees, as a bodyi in accordance with Section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 and ￿gUlationS made under Section 154 of that Act. My work has been undertaken so that I might state to the Trustees those matters l am required to state to them in an Independent Examiner's report and for no other purpose. Accounting policies These financial statements are prepared on a going concern basis, under the hislorical cost convention. These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the "Statement of Recommended Praclice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with Ihe Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) ( the Charlties SORP"), with the Financial Reportlng Standard applicable In the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland {"FRS 102 ), and with the Charities Aci 2011. The charity meets the definition of a public benefit entity as set out in FRS 102. The principles adopted In the preparation of the financial statements are set out below. Income from charitable artivities represents income receivable from goods, seNices and facilities supplied in furtherance of the charity's charitable objects.
