Activities
Cycling Project promotes cycling as a healthy method of transport, recreation and exercise. It encourages people of all sectors of the community to engage in cycling for their health and well being. It does this by offering a range of cycling initiatives and through the development of cycling centres and facilities that are accessible to all.
Objects: 3. OBJECTS3.1 The Charity’s objects (Objects) are specifically restricted to the following:-(a) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health or disability;(b) the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation and the advancement of the recreational sport of cycling;(c) the advancement of the education of the public in the subject of recreational cycling; (d) the promotion of equality and diversity in recreational cycling; and(e) any other charitable purpose determined by the Trustees from time to timein each case for the public benefit by the promotion, delivery and support (including by guidance, training and the provision of specialist equipment) of accessible cycling nationwide through a range of community engagement programmes that facilitate access to cycles and promote accessible cycling on a regular basis.3.2 Nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with any statutory provision regarding the meaning of the word "charitable" or the words "charitable purposes" in force in any part of the United Kingdom.
