ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
We Chango Lives IWCLI commenced rt5 operation of $eryirEs in 1989 wh8n il was known as Warrington
Community Living and established ilseLS as a charty in 1991.
WCL'S original purpose was to support people with learning disabilities rnoving oul of long slay hospital
accommodation and provide them with community fwused services that would promote independence and a mo
in¢lusivg lifastyle. This work continu8d and expanded lo include oldei [￿PIe and wmmunity Services. A merger
with Warringlon Community Care allowed to scope of services lo Support people with mental health issues
meaning th8 organisation grew from supporting less than 11>) people, lo supporting over 450 peopk every year all
in the borough of Warrington.
