TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 2021 All praises are for our creator. Allah (Subhanahu-wa-ts'ala, (swr) 'Glorious and Exalted Is He"), we testify that HE alone V￿ worship and HE alone is worthy of the worship, who is the most Magnifi￿nt. the Most Beneficial and the Most Merciful of all. And send our limitless salutations upon the most blessed prophet of Allah (SI￿), Muhammad (Sallallahu-alayhi-YR-Salam S.W.T. 'Allah's blessings be upon Him.) and we testify that HE is the last and final prophet of Allah (swr) and there is none after him. The Trustees of the Pakistan Muslim Soci6ty (the society hereafter) have the pleasure in presenting (the duty prepared) annual report for the year ended 3111212021, which comply with appropriate statutory requirements and those of Charity'8 trust deed. Govornanco: By its constitution, the society is overall govemed by the appointed Trustees, whilst the elected Management Committee oversees day-to-day affairs of the society. All officials, the Trustees, the Management Committee and the Youth Committee are appointed l elected by the membership of the society and work together as a team on an ongoing basis. Alm8 and ObJacllvM: The aims and objectiV8s of the society are those stated in the con8titution of society and have not changed sinct ts inception. Servlc•8 to membern and the broader Communlty: The society continues to strive in provKling the religious. cuttural, social and educational needs of all its members and the broader society's community including children, women and the elderly. This includes daily five-time prayers congregations, Friday semions and congregations. regular daily religious education classes for the chiFdren (with modemised and diverse curriculum). funeral and burial services and Observan￿ of several annual important religious events (in the Islamic calendar). to name a few. Various lectures, seminars and religious congregations (delivered in several languages including English, Arabic and Urdu) were held for all vRlks of life, especially for women and in particular the youth to fulfil the society's religious, cultural, civic, safeguarding, social and law-abiding responsibilities. The society conlinues to employ appropriate numbers of suttabty qualified and vetted personnel (in line with current legislation and good practice) and has many suitable volunteers to meet the needs of the service users. The society is afways keen to develop its users. understanding of the importanc8 of living in multi<ultural Britain. so that they fully participate in the broader diverse society, based on respect, aC￿Ptan￿ and toleran￿ values. To this end, the society continues to deliver diverse lectures for youngsters in particular in English

medium and also provides extra-curricular activibes, (including sporting activities) for children, young people and adults. These services and activiiies are being delNered and supported by the suitably qualified and appropriate personnel. These services are at present being used by over 6001650 users every week (during Friday congregations) wtth a minimum of 50160 adults and over 250 children attending, for various services, almost daily. Assets and Flnanc•8: Over the recent years, the socrety continues to effectively manage its finances, especially in the current pandemic, which has adversety impacted on our members. donations. However. the Trustees are delighted to report that desprte the varying financial pressures and existing priorities, the newly built community centre is going through its final phases of completion. Major building extemal work had been completed wrth significant progre&s had also been made to complete the internal work, including the society's communty centre had secured all utility seplices at the site and other intemal worf(, for example, the electric work had been completed as well as other outstanding intemal work. The remaining work is planned to complete with the next year or so, which is mainly around the purpose4)uilt car park and security measure8, which is hoped to be completed on schedule, subject to the required donations received. Other key sites of the society have also had appropriate been maintained to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the users in an appropriate manner and that they are well-pres8nt8d and professionalty managed. safa and Secure 3ites wth modem and effecttve CCTVS facilities. Conclu81on: The Trustees are satIsf￿d that the Management Committee has adequately executed their duties and. by the constitution of the society. The Trustees would also like to thank the Management Committee, the Youth Committee, the society membership and above all its volunteers and donors for their valuable servi￿5 and donations.
