The main activities in 2022 in Malawi and Mozambique were: • Provision of funds for building and repairing meeting halls • Provision of funds for re-roofing houses of the vulnerable, widows and elderly • Provision of housing for widows and elderly • Provision of funds to relieve famine conditions caused by a failed harvest • Provision of funds to subsidise agricultural activities of subsistence farmers • Support of 22 locations including 6 in Mozambique where members of the church hold meetings for worship • Supplying funds for welfare and health related issues • Provision of Bibles & Hymn books • Supplying church magazines and literature for instruction and preaching. • Supplying funds for pastoral care and visits between church locations • Supporting, funding and advising a sub-committee of members in Malawi who have the day-to-day responsibility of identifying cases of need, distributing welfare and support, and organising activities. |

Para 1.20 | The charity expended £58,000 (to further its objects, with minimal administrative costs, most of which is directly handled by a sub-committee in Malawi who have day to day responsibility for the distribution of funds in accordance with the charity’s aims and objectives. Relief of poverty: those with no means of support, the elderly and widows are given regular financial support. Funding construction of new homes for those whose homes have fallen into grave disrepair or who are homeless. Funding construction of new church halls in Malawi and Mozambique for congregations to gather and worship Famine relief and Agricultural subsidy given in June and November 2022 benefitted many families in both Malawi and Mozambique. |
