AIM AND PVRPOSE
The Trust seeks to support serving and ex-serwng rnembers of the Amied For￿5 and MOD fjvil Servants. as
well as their dependants, in developing and strengthening their Christian faith through attendance at
camps. conferences, courses and at Chrtstlan leisure centre& We particularly seek to support and
encourage those en8a8ed in evangelism within the Military and those who wish to consider the clalms of
the Christlan Gospel. We also provlde widèr benefft by a$5irting Chrfstians from the Amied Forces of other
countrles.
OBJEcllvES AND ACTivmES
In accordance with our aim the trust provides finanoal grants to:
Support members ofthe Amied Farces and MOD Clvll Service community to attend events organlsed
by the varlous Mllltary Chrlstlan Organi5atTrons IMC051 or other Christian events for rest, recuperatbon,
fèllowshlp and teachln8.
Support MCOS in thelr PrO￿s1on of conferences, course5 or actiwtles.
Support other activities aimed * prop3gatlr￿ the Christlan gospel within the Amied Forces.
Ids from jvnior servlce personnel are partIcUlar￿ encouraged.
CONSTITUTION AND TRUSTEES
The constitution was revlewed In January 2022. There have been no slgnificant changes deèmed nece$5ary
as the extant constltution contlnues to allow sufficient freedom of actlon to sat15fy the objectlves of the
Trust. Durlng the year an additional trustee was appolnted In March 2026, and we have started succession
planning for our long sefmng Secretary and Treasurer. Two serving trustees have also retlred from attive
5ervlce, one regular and one reserve. As a trust serviw a predominantly'younB' constituency we remaln
conscious of the need to encourage and bdng In new tft￿l partbcularly Junlor Rates and Ranks from the
three Services, whom we most routinely alm to supwrt.
COMPLIANCE, ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORW4NCE
Investments
The flnanclal year 2025126 saw an Income from our underlyln8 Investments of £36,833, whlch are
professionally managed on our behalf by Jon Crompton. Brewln Dolphin. The Trust also owns property In
Shropshlre as part of the invellment portfolio.
During the year we contlnued to progress plans to rationalise these holdlngs la Ilsted property) due to thelr
age, locatlon and increa&ng maintenance and Complian￿ burden. The four flats were vacated in
preparation for refurbishment and conversion into I￿0 semi-detached th¥ellin85. Planning and listed
lJiJildln8 consent have. however. Droved more protracted thèn antldpated. An Inltlal refusal12 April 20251
led to engagement of specialist planning SUPPOrt and a programme of surveys and tests (Ma￿l￿1Y 20251,
after which an application was resubmltted124 Augu￿ 20251. A further refusal was subsequently i55ued,
notwithstanding an Indlcatlon from the authority thatthe ovèrall proposal 15 likely to be acceptable subject
to provision of some final details and a site visit. We are ojrrently awalting confimiatlon of approval for the
latest submission. While the property ￿mainS empty, we have taken steps to reduce risk and cost.. system5
havè been drained anil secured. a regular watch arranged. locks changed following an i501Jted
trespassltheft Incident (now resolved), ond we continue to manage ongoing holding costs (notably
insurance and council tsxl a5soaated with an extended void Feriod.

Grants
Grants this year have totalled £35,278. We have helped numerous appllcants attend retreats, conferences,
courses and pilgrimages. We again provided a subsidy for attendance at the Gathering. We als0 SUPPOrted
Issathar (Season 21 as a 2025126 inltiative, a leadership programme aimed at developlng thristian leaders
within the Armed Forces and wider MOD community. for which recruitment commented during the year.
Similarly, we continue to 5ubsidise a Chrlstian holiday camp for service thildren. milÉtary families attendlng
summer house parties and young soldiers. sailors and aimien attendlng Chri5than festivals.
These artNitles are typical of the broad range of activftles that we support across all three services
including both seNing and retlred milltsry families and their dependants, thus demonstrating a tanBlble
wSder public benefft. We encoura8e and welcome new bkls, espeualty from those with novel ideas.
We contlnue to work, where posslble, with other established MCOS including Mllltary Chaplaincies, but at
the same time encourage blds. large or small, from individuals and non-military organisations where they
support the wider military communlty. We continue to work with the Armed Fortes Chrlstlan UnSon IAFCUI
nd the Soldiers and Airmen Scrlpture Readers Associatlon ISASRAI which provbdes SUPPOrt to members of
all three services, and our srants subsidise the c05t of their numerous events.
MANAGEMENT OF ThE TRUST
We are fortunate to have a body of willlng trustees who glve freely and 8enerou51y of their time and, belng
elther servlng milltary or ex-milltary, brln8 knowled8eable. mature and reasoned jud8ement to their task.
The trust does not have permanent employed staff or offlces- its admin15tratlon Is conducted on the
internet using a secure well-produced and malntained Trustees, forum. Thls reduces cost and Is tlme
efficient. The Trust also m3int3ins a publlc web site from whlch anyone may 80in Infomatlon and submlt
grant application.
Trustees Committee meetings are held three tlmes a year and are recorded In mlnutes as requlred bv
Charlty Commlsslon rules. The MS365 migration has been completed and we are now seeking opportunities
to optimlse our digltal ways of working to funher improve efficiency and Information management.
Admlnistratlon costs remaSn negligible.
The accounts contlnue to be maintalned to an extremely high standard ty ourtreasurer Mr R J Campbell
and we are well supported and advised by our Brewin Oolphln fijnd manager. The accounts are properlv
externally examined In accordance wlth Charlty Commisslon rules and they are filed with this report for
scrutlny as requlred.
Rlsk Analysls
The Trustees consider the prindpal rlsks affectlngthe charfty to be:
A decline In the value of investments. Perforrnance during 2025126 was encouragin& reflectlng
positive market perfornlance throughout 2025. The trustees contlnue to minimise valuation risk by
enga￿1n% portfolio managers to maintain a balanced portfolio under regular review. Our investment
manager brlefed trustee5 on 12 January 2026.
Damage to properry whlch the Trustees seek to mlnlmise by maintslning mana8Èment overslght of
the properties and ensuring adequate insLbrnnce CO4Er.
Investsnent Policy
Seeking to achleve a robusi income weld to fulfil its d￿ritable purposes coupled with longterm capltal
growth as an Inflationary hedge from a balanced risk portfolio.

Publlc 8eneNt
In preparing thls reporL and in planning fvture activity, the tnjstees have considered the Charity
Commission's gener31 guidance on public benefrt and its supplementary public guidance on the
advancement of religion for the public benefft.
The trustee5 believe that the best way to orry oiit our oblert1￿, and to provide publlc benefit for the
sector of the public targeted withln our constitution. Is to contlnue to wpport organisations and indivlduals
in Ilne wlth our charbtable objertwes.
SUMMARY
The Trust has had another good year despite Contlnul￿ thalienges. We optimistically look forward to
2026127 seelng additlonal Consolidated bids moving forward from SASPA, while ensuring our income from
investments allows u5 to keep pace. We continue to encoura8e and welcome innovative and novel blds for
support addition to those regulady received. We remain well placed finanually with senslble reserves
that will contlnue to enable us to we*her any further fluctuations in the broader economic environment
and allow us to fulfil our aims and objectives in accordance with our ¢on5titution and charter- fvll details of

I report in respect of my examination of the Trusvs accounts carri8d out
under section 145 of the 2011 Ad and in carying out my examinats'on, I
have followed all the applicabEe Directions given by the Charity Commlssion
