Activities
The Charity manages Ashmeadow Woodlands in the village of Arnside. It comprises of mixed woodland, orchards, a walled garden and allotments. It is open to the public and has a number of footpaths with seats and interpretation boards. When finances permit the Charity offers grants to local groups, or individuals, for anything that will further the aims of the Charity.
Objects: 1)For The General Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit For Which Provision Is Not Made From Public Rates And Taxes.2)to Provide In The Interests Of Social Welfare Such Leisure Recreational And Such Other Facilities As The Trustees Shall Think Fit.3)to Preserve The Aesthetic And Architectural Values Of Ashmeadow House,arnside,cumbria And The Gardens And Parklands Belonging Thereto.
