Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
During the period of this report, the centre has continued to see groups thrive and private hire for birthday parties increase. It has been good to see the levels of groups and their members moving back to more regular numbers. Thanks for the success of the centre, we have seen increased usage of the adjacent park, leading to greater investment by Stockport council in the form of new seating and tables, as well as a new play area for small children.
The community enjoy coming in to the centre for a monthly “cleaning morning”, their way of giving back to the centre and making it a fresh and vibrant place to be.
Our flagship project, Friendly Fridays, has gone from strength to strength and is held in high regard across Stockport.
