I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Arden School Parents Teacher Friends Association for the year ended 31[st] August 2025
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act)
I report in respect of my examination of the accounts
## **Independent examiner’s statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect
1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Act
2. The accounts do not accord with those records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## **Report of the Trustees for the year ending 31 August 2025**
The trustees of the Arden school parents teacher friends association present their annual report and independently reviewed accounts for the year ended 31 August 2025 and confirm they comply with the relevant requirements. The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis.
## **Our Aims**
The parents association aims to raise money through a variety of fund raising activities during the school year. These activities can be for children, families or parents to enjoy. All money raised is then donated, at regular intervals, to Arden Academy.
## **Review of Activities**
During the year ending 31 August 2025 a number of fundraising activities took place. The main events being:
- Fireworks
- Spring ball
- Prom
- Production bar
- Preloved uniform sales
The PTFA association also received funds from donations and sponsorship
All events are run by volunteers, who are parents or friends of Arden Academy.
## **Finances**
During the financial year £50,783 was raised. This provided a surplus of £26,845 after costs were deducted.
Arden Academy received £17,132 during this period. £4,000 was spent on online learning platforms, £1,690 on Microscopes, £2,510 on Science books, £2,413 on Geography equipment, £1,264 on reading pens, £820 on English books and £1,000 on photography studio
At the 31 August 2025 the bank balance is £31,430
