Bids are submitted to the PTFA Committee meetings for approval. All members present can vote on individual bids but guidance is taken from the School Management Team. March **2012** **TAR** 3 ## Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** A successful year with the key event being the Fireworks festival, raising circa £14,000. The Christmas Ball, bar/refreshments at various school events, the selling of second-hand uniform, plus income from the Sub Club monthly draw, have also raised significant funds for the school. £15,933 was paid to Arden Academy in response to bids made for funds, including the lease of a minibus. The PTFA also funded text books for Maths and Economics, music stands, camera equipment, a language software licence and other smaller items. March **2012** **TAR** 4 Section E Financial review.
