Corner Oak Trust is a small charity founded in 1990 by a Declaration of Trust. It has 3 trustees, all of whom serve in a voluntary capacity.

Relief of persons in need or hardship, assistance to the aged or sick

The advancement of education on the basis of Christian principles

The advancement of the Christian faith

Main activities this year

Financial support of an Ethiopian pastor and his family.

Financial support of a Christian foundation in Tanzania, which builds and runs schools and provides teacher training. Particular care and resources are being invested in children with mental and physical disabilities. Sponsoring pupils at the foundation’s school in Arusha to enable them to commence and continue their education.

Financial support of needy school pupils in Kenya.

Assisting a nurse previously sponsored through university to buy equipment for the clinic she has established in a rural area of Kenya.

Supporting the work of a Christian foundation giving educational and vocational support to young people in African countries.

Providing funds for the activities of a church in Hastings, UK, including evangelistic programmes and assistance to the needy.

Financial policy

It is not this charity’s policy to build up major reserves, but rather to provide funds for appropriate projects as quickly as possible.
