St Mary’s C of E Primary School – School Fund Audit Report for the period ending 31 July 2023

  1. There are no outstanding issues from the previous year.

  2. No formal accounts were provided which has resulted in these accounts

  3. Basis of Independent Examiner’s Statement. Whilst this Fund is not a Registered Charity, I have carried out my examination in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Fund and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the managers of the fund concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required for an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

  4. Independent Examiner’s Statement. In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention (other than those disclosed above in paragraphs 1 to 4) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

  5. a. Accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or

  6. b. The accounts do not accord with the accounting records.

I have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
