Ross Armour, Alan Irwin. Structure, governance, and management - The charity is an unincorporated association and has a management committee responsible for day-to-day administration. Three trustees can be appointed, one by Corby Borough Council (or its successors), one by the management committee and one by Corby Borough Council (or its successors) and the management committee jointly. Trustees are encouraged and enabled to undertake any training they consider they need. Governing document details - the charity has a written constitution dated October 1989. Financial Review - there is no specific reserves policy. The treasurer is charged with monitoring reserves and reporting regularly to the management committee. The charity is in receipt of an annual grant from North Northamptonshire Council which was £11,660 in this year. Without this grant the charity's future viability would be in doubt. The Trustees are very grateful to the council for its ongoing support. Public benefit statement- the charity runs a community centre for the benefit and welfare of local residents in the Beanfield area of Corby. Objectives, activities, achievements. and performance - The main activities undertaken in the year were the letting of halls and rooms to local groups for their activities. Examples include a bingo club, indoor bowls, church groups, exercise groups, dance groups, private individuals, local councils, various cultural groups and community support groups. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in Carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(1) of the Act. This report is provided to the trustees alone, for their own purposes only. No report is given to any other person for any purposes whatsoever. Independent examiner's ststement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records., or 3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
