turnover threshold for the Third year
running. Again, this was due to the
success of several large events. The
Frieth Hilly (an annual 5k/10k local
running event) raised £9,603. The annual
Christmas fayre raised £2,997. The Frieth
fest returning for its Third year raised:
£3,269. In addition the Charity received
£3,728 in corporate match funding. A
combination of these proceeds allowed
the charity to donate a total of £23,348 to
the school.

Independent examiner’s report to Frieth C.E.C School P.T.A (Charity no 1001049).

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025.

Responsibilities and basis of report

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, follow the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act, and state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
