**Objects:** A. TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION REGARDING THE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND LEGAL POSITION OF ALL IN SOCIETY. B. TO PROMOTE THE EQUALITY OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY BY RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS AND ENCOURAGING THE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL AFFAIRS.

**Activities:** Conferences & seminars are held on topical issues, after which the appropriate government department is informed of our discussions. We have permanent groups which are concerned with specific subjects i.e. health, education, arts & media, consumer affairs, science & technology, foreign affairs, social employment & housing issues. These groups hold regular meetings.
