Reserves
Reserves are held in a bank current account and bank deposit account. Reserves must, as a minimum, cover wind up costs. The remainder is held for the replacement of equipment and potential future expansion or relocation.
Review of Financial Position
The pre-school principal source of funding is fees, paid directly or through the nursery education grant. Some fundraising is also undertaken. The charity has a good level of reserves at the year end despite making a small deficit in the year.
