**Objects:** The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society &amp; Sea Cadets (MSSC).

**Activities:** As well teamwork  and self respect, our aim is to provide a sense of belonging and a sound foundation for future employment to provide practical applications for skills which are learned , to train cadets in all aspects of seamanship, we spend summer months sailing canoeing, camping , orienteering , which sets cadets up for Dof E, during winter we are more academic, with classes in communications,
