Activities
SAMM is an independent voluntary organisation. We offer help and support to those bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter. Our volunteers have been similarly bereaved and can share what this feels like. We are also involved in training and research, raising public awareness and increasing the understanding of organisations who work closely with bereaved families.
Objects: A. To Support Its Members Through Self Help, Advice, And All Methods Which Are Appropriate And Available.b. To Work With Government Offices And All Parts Of The Justice System In Understanding The Problems Experienced By People Bereaved Through Homicide (murder Or Manslaughter).c. To Work With Health Services Offering Assistance To Those Similarly Bereaved.d. To Organise And Support Research Into The Effects Of Homicide.
