To preserve the memory and the deeds of the 447th Bomb Group once part of the American 8th Air Force. To maintain the memorial we have erected on the site of the 447th's former airfield at Rattlesden Suffolk.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The United Kingdom And The United States Of America In The History Of The Contribution Made By Members Of The 447th Bomb Group To The Preservation Of Both Countries Heritage During The Second World War And The Sacrifices Made By Them
