**Objects:** 4 The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: To advance the education of the public in Wales in the subject of land use planning and the planning system in Wales.To advance the education of the public in Wales by providing training and information on land use planning to individuals, communities, bodies and groups to assist their participation and engagement in the planning process in Wales for the public benefit.The relief of financial hardship by the provision of free advice and assistance on land use planning issues and procedures to persons, communities, bodies and groups who, through lack of means, would otherwise be unable to obtain such advice.

**Activities:** We support communities and planning authorities to work better together in shaping places. We work with local planning authorities to support approaches for thoughtful community engagement as part of a proactive planning process.  We work with community and town councils to see the world from their perspective and explain the planning process, their role in it and what they can achieve.
