**Activities:** The Association aims to relieve suffering & distress amongst persons affected by accident or natural hazards within the North East of England or any other place if requested. The Association aims to further relations between member teams & member teams & other interested parties; represent member bodies on the Mountain Rescue (England & Wales); & maintain & improve standards of member teams.
